What are Prolozone?

For those suffering from chronic musculoskeletal or joint pain, Prolozone therapy can provide an opportunity to avoid surgery and ongoing discomfort.

Prolozone is an injection therapy that combines the principles of Neural therapy, Prolotherapy, and Ozone therapy. It involves injecting combinations of procaine, anti-inflammatory medications, homeopathics, vitamins, minerals, proliferants, and ozone/oxygen gas into degenerated or injured joints, and areas of pain.

Much like Prolotherapy, Prolozone introduces natural substances into damaged and inflamed tissues to promote non-surgical reconstruction of tendons and ligaments. It works primarily through the stimulation of growth factors that fuel the healing process. The addition of highly reactive ozone, produced in-office by a medical ozone generator, can increase the rate of healing through further stimulation of fibroblasts within the joint.

In addition to stimulating tissue regeneration, Prolozone halts the pain/inflammation cycle. This allows for better circulation, increased blood flow carrying nutrition, and hydration of the damaged tissues. This allows for a healing environment within the joint to develop and results in increased range of motion and decreased pain.

Prolozone is also anti-microbial: meaning it kills viruses, bacteria (including Lyme), fungus and parasites. I have injected it into active skin infections with dramatic healing results.

Condition commonly treated with Prolozone

    • Bulging or herniated disks

Dr Glen has given me more relief than any other doctor

He continues to be an active partner in this complex medical issue. Many well meaning physicians have taken a stab (pun intended) at attempting to alleviate or lessen the pain I have lived with, they had not been successful.I have Dr Glen’s depth of knowledge of the body and non-invasive solutions have resulted in improvements that I did not think were possible.

A very grateful patient
